Xinyu Feihu: Continuous transmission with pressure plugging operation to ensure that the replacement of pipelines without stopping gas

Located at the intersection of Qilin Avenue and Leyigang Road in Pingdingshan City, Henan Province, the D273 high-pressure long distance pipeline is the main pipeline of the city’s gas supply. Because the road surface needs to be reformed, Pingdingshan Gas Co., Ltd. found in the inspection that the pipeline is not deep enough to fill, which seriously affects the road surface transformation work. The company decided to invite a professional plugging construction team to carry out high pressure transformation of the pipeline and reduce its depth.

On June 10, 2024, the professional construction team of Xinyu Feihu arrived at the site. After full preparation in the early stage, more than 10 operators cooperated in division of labor, and a series of operating procedures such as pressure welding, hot tapping, plugging and blind plate installation were carried out in an orderly manner. After 5 days of continuous fighting, performing single plugging with pressure on the D355 and D273 steel pipeline separately(it thus formed double plugging project)was continuously transported and about 300 meters of pipeline were replaced, and the high-pressure transformation work of the pipeline was successfully completed to ensure the smooth implementation of the road surface transformation project.
